Spectacled Bear Spotted in Machu Picchu

A new video has appeared on the Internet of a Spectacled Bear cub walking around the Inca citadel. Which confirms the belief that many bears inhabit the area.

Fernando Astete Victoria, head of the Archaeological Park, reported that Andean or Spectacled bears have become an attraction for tourists who visit Machu Picchu.
It was right there, I was walking by the Andenes and at that moment I saw the bear walking like he doesn't have care in the World.
Said Fernando, who saw the bear between 8 and 9am on the 10th of January.

The Andean bears are monitored by park rangers and surveillance cameras that have been placed in the park and in the sanctuary of Machu Picchu.
Spectacled bears are the last remaining representatives of the short-faced bears, and are the only bear species still found in South America
