Due to maintenance and a request from the Chuspipata Community the famous biking tours of Death Road will have to start a couple of hours earlier than usual. Some operators have decided to not operate Death Road tours at all on these dates.
We know that these Tour Operators are doing Death Road tours. All of them are starting the tour at 6am and finishing between 4pm and 5pm.

This letter was sent to all tour operators for Death Road.
Since Saturday 15th of October we are blocking the entrance to Chuspipata community, which between other things include the entrance to Death Road (...) We have asked the mayor to give us a hearing, but he hasnt answered. That is why we will continue to block the entrance until we get an answer. (...) We ask all tour operators to understand and support us.Please take note of this news and contact your operator for further updates on the issue.
