Low Cost Flights starting in 2017 at S/.60 per route

Finally Low Costs flights are entering peruvian territory.

Viva Air Peru, the brand Viva Colombia is using for their operations in Peru, will start flying on the first trimester of 2017.

The starting price will be as good as S/.60 per route. And they will start flying to all major airports in Peru: Lima, Cusco, Arequipa, Iquitos, Piura, Tarapoto, Trujillo y Chiclayo. However they have big plans to include smaller cities in the next 4 years.

In an interview with Viva Air Peru CEO William Shaw, he said that the actual price for flights was pretty expensive. And he is right. He also said that peruvians have a lot of passion for travel so they were expecting a good first year.

The good things for travelers in the country is that this prices will be for all passengers, not only for peruvians or residents.
